Subject: RFP of potential interest to CCRR network
Dear Dr. Goldstein,
I hope this finds you well. I am writing on behalf of the Social Science Research Council’s Program on Religion and the Public Sphere to announce a fellowship opportunity that may be of interest
to students and early-career scholars in the network of the Center for Critical Research on Religion. We would greatly appreciate your help sharing this opportunity to the network via email, your website, and/or social media.
The Religion, Spirituality, and Democratic Renewal
(RSDR) Fellowship of the Social Science Research Council (SSRC), with the support of the Fetzer Institute, aims to bring knowledge of the place of religion and spirituality into scholarly and public conversations about renewing democracy in the
United States. These fellowships offer research support over a period of up to 12 months to doctoral students who have advanced to candidacy and to postdoctoral researchers within five years of their PhD. We welcome proposals on all aspects and dimensions
of religion and spirituality in its relation to democracy from across all fields in the social sciences, humanities, and theology. Applications are due April 6, 2021. More information on the fellowship, eligibility, and application process is available on
the Program’s website.
I have attached the full RFP to this email, as well.
Please let me know if you have any questions or if there is another person I should contact regarding this announcement.
Thank you very much and all my best,
Olivia
