Subject: Stability and Change in Self-Identity, Attitudes, and Beliefs: A Ten-Year Longitudinal Study
Date: June 13th 2018

An interdisciplinary team of researchers (headed up by the Brain, Belief, and Behavior Lab at Coventry University) is launching a new 10-year study that will examine how a number of human individual-difference characteristics vary over time, and how these variations predict change or stability in certain aspects of individual identity. The Coventry University Ethics committee has approved this study (#P65835). Eligibility is limited to any member of the general United States population (U.S. citizen) who is at least 18 years of age.

This study will follow one group of people over a 10-year period, which will involve the use of three surveys administered five years apart; participants will be asked to provide an email address for these purposes. The survey consists of a minmum of 101 questions pertaining to various preferences, beliefs, and behaviors, and is estimated to take no more than 30 minutes to complete.

Researchers will attempt to recruit a total of 4,000 U.S. respondents. Because this study covers a wide range of diverse topics, even if you do not wish to participate, please consider sharing this survey with friends, family, and colleagues who might be interested, as this would be immensely helpful to us with recruiting for the study.

If you have additional questions about this study, please contact the co-primary investigator, Thomas J. Coleman III, at colema56@PROTECTED. If you are interested in participating in this study, please follow the link below:
