Dear Members of SAR,

The Center for Theologically Engaged Anthropology (CTEA) at the University of Georgia is currently seeking applications from anthropologists and theologians who are current graduate students or post-graduates and are interested in addressing the question, “What can theology contribute to cultural anthropology?” without forgetting the equally important question, “What can anthropology contribute to theology?” Please distribute the attached Call for Applications widely.

I will be attending the upcoming SAR meeting in New Orleans and would welcome meeting with anyone who is interested in applying. Please email me at dlemons@PROTECTED. More information about CTEA can be found at http://research.franklin.uga.edu/tea/

Best,

Dr. Derrick Lemons
Assistant Professor of Religion
Director, Center for Theologically Engaged Anthropology
Willson Center Fellow of Religion
Vice-President Elect, American Academy of Religion-SE Region
